The Intersérie ignites the Nürburgring

During the 1974 season, it became clear that media and spectator interest in the Intersérie was waning. However, entry numbers increased in 1975, with several teams, such as Alfa Romeo and its drivers Derek Bell and John Watson, competing in the World Endurance Championship, but keen to be present in this series as well. This would, however, be the last year in which the impressive Can-Ams were allowed.
Here on the great Nürburgring, it was Tim Schenken who won at the wheel of his Porsche 917/10 ahead of Howden Ganley in a Mirage GR7-Ford and Herbert Muller (picture-below in his Porsche 908/03).
