First race in the fast lane

After 4 seasons in the very fun ‘Fun Cup’, Benoit and myself wanted to progress in motor racing and were convinced, by former race driver Bernard de Dryver, to purchase this beautiful and efficient Radical PR6.

At the first sprint race at Zolder, I improved my lap times on every flying lap and was happy to qualify in fifth position. At the start, I was surprised by the bite of the clutch and very nearly stalled… and I was passed by the entire field. I then drove really hard to recover and finish in fifth position. A very satisfying debut. One always remembers his first race in a higher category of racing.
