Rick Mears, the American Dream

Rick Mears, born on the 3rd of December 1951, turns 68 today. Known as “Rocket Rick”, he is one of three drivers to win the Indianapolis 500 four times (1979, 1984, 1988, 1991) and is also a three-time IndyCar series champion (1979, 1981, 1982).

He is, to this day, still working for Team Penske as an advisor and a drivers coach.
