Mike Beuttler (13 April 1940 – 29 December 1988) was a British racing driver born in Cairo (Egypt). He showed some promise in Formula 3 and quickly moved up to Formula One in a privately entered March, sponsored by friends stockbrokers.
Openly gay at a time when that was a hard thing to be, especially for a Formula One driver, he drove 28 Grand Prix in his yellow March in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Failed to score a point, when only the first six finishers scored, but succeeded to finish five times in the top ten. He sadly died from AIDS in 1988 at the age of 48.
