French racing driver Jean Alesi turned 55 on June 11. Very brave and fast, he should have won more than one Grand Prix in his twelve Formula 1 seasons. Leading many races when he drove for Ferrari, he showed great speed and commitment, but was often unlucky when his car failed, but he was also accident prone. Jean Alesi won the 1995 Canadian Formula One Grand Prix. It will remain his only F1 victory.
1 Grand Prix win, 32 Podiums, 241 career points, 2 pole positions and 4 fastest laps in 201 starts.
