Al Unser (born May 29, 1939) is an American racing driver, the younger brother of Jerry and Bobby Unser, fellow racing drivers, and the father of Al Unser Jr.
He is one of three drivers, with Foyt and Mears, to have won the Indianapolis 500 a record 4 times.
The Unser family has won the Indy 500 a record nine times.
Championship titles : 1970 USAC champion. 1978 Triple Crown of Ovals (Indycar) champion. 1983 and 1985 IndyCar Series champion. 1970, 1971, 1978, 1987 Indy 500 winner.
