The joy of unlimited testing

Patrick Lemarié, former F1 test driver for British American Racing (BAR) but also Le Mans 24 Hours driver and Indycar competitor (with PK Racing in 2003), joins our prestigious list of ‘Star Contributors‘.

Asked to comment the picture above, Patrick recalls: “This picture was taken during one of the numerous tests with BAR at Silverstone. As usual, Jacques (Villeneuve) and myself, took advantage of these tests to really push each other, really fight for every inch of the track, even in a Formula One car.”

Lemarié adds: “Really great memories of an incredible and fantastic era, where we did more than 20000km a year tests, in front of many spectators. The real passion.”
