Danny Sullivan, pictured above, driving the March 827 Chevy entered by Paul Newman in the Mosport round of the 1982 Can-Am Championship. The American will finish second behind Al Unser Jr. in his Galles Racing Frisbee GR2-Chevy.

The March 827, a sports prototype for the 1982 Can-Am Championship, was powered by a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 5-liter Chevrolet V8. It was driven by Danny Sullivan for the Newman/Budweiser Racing.

The American was competitive behind the wheel of this impressive car, winning the Caesar Palace round in Las Vegas, climbing onto the podium 7 times and obtaining 3 pole positions. However, it was Al Unser Jr. who won the championship behind the wheel of his Frisbee chassis based on the Lola T332 (picture-below).
