Presentation of the 1996 Ferrari F1 car, the F310 and its drivers Michael Schumacher (already a two-time world champion with Benetton), Eddie Irvine and reserve driver Nicola Larini, with Jean Todt (Team Principal), Luca di Montezemolo (Ferrari) and Gianni Agnelli (FIAT).
The F310 and its evolution F310B were designed by a formidable group of engineers with John Barnard (Technical Director F310), Ross Brawn (Technical Director F310B), Gustav Brunner (Chief Designer F310), Rory Byrne (Chief Designer F310B), Osamu Goto (Chief Engine Designer) and Willem Toet (Head of Aerodynamics).
Michael Schumacher won in Spain, Belgium and Italy and finished third in the 1996 Drivers’ Championship behind the two Williams-Renaults of Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve, while his team mate Eddie Irvine scored one podium only, with third in Australia and finished tenth in the standings.
