In 1969, Mario Andretti raced in Formula One, in IndyCar (USAC at the time), in NASCAR and in Formula 5000, being on a race track no less than 50 week-ends in a year! He said: “That was such an intense schedule, I hardly ever was home, and am so thankful to my wife Dee Ann to have supported my and raised the children, all on her own during that period.”
