Exuberant style
Despite a shoestring budget, Brian Henton displayed a most exuberant driving style at the wheel of this March 752-BMW borrowed from the factory, and finished third in the European Formula 2 Championship round held at Hockenheim on April 13, 1975.
Brian Henton (born 19 September 1946) is a former racing driver from England. He won both 1974 British Formula 3 Championship and the 1980 European Formula 2 Championship. He participated in 38 Formula One Grands Prix for the Lotus, March, Toleman, Arrows and Tyrrell team, debuting on 19 July 1975, but never scored any championship points.
That day in 1975, Gérard Larrousse was also impressive in his first outing at the wheel of the ELF2 (ex Alpine A367), as teammate of Jean-Pierre Jabouille in the Elf Switzerland Team, winning the first round and settling for second place behind Hans Joachim Stuck in the second, to win the event.
