Emerson loves Spa

Brazilian racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi (75), won the Belgian Formula One Grand Prix at twice: in 1972 in a Lotus 72 and in 1974 in a McLaren M23, on the circuit of Nivelles. Funnily enough, the great champion never raced at Spa-Francorchamps.

Yesterday, before the start of the Grand Prix week-end, he discovered the track in his 1978 Copersucar. Emerson Fittipaldi declared: “That was such a nice experience. The track is beautiful and impressive, and to get back at the wheel of my dear Copersucar was an emotional moment.”
