Bumpy airfield
The 1964 Austrian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Zeltweg Airfield. It was race 7 of 10 in the World Championship. The 105-lap race was won by Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini after he started from seventh position.

Notable in this race were the championship debut of Jochen Rindt driving a Rob Walker Brabham BT11 (did not finish… suspension failure) and the only podium for privateer Bob Anderson, finishing third in yet another BT11.
Bob Anderson (1931-1967) was a British racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1963 to 1967. Anderson was one of the last true privateers in F1. He scored one podium and eight championship points, but sadly was killed while testing at Silverstone in 1967.
