Bob Evans achieved his best Grand Prix result when he brought his BRM P201 home in 9th position at the 1975 Belgian Grand Prix held at Zolder (picture-above). Winner that day was Niki Lauda in his Ferrari 312T.

The BRM P201 was designed by Mike Pilbeam for British Racing Motors (BRM), which raced in the 1974 and 1975 F1 seasons and in P201B specification in 1976 and 1977. The P201 featured a triangular monocoque, hip-level radiators, inboard brakes and was powered by a 3.0 litre V12 engine. Its best finish was second place for Jean-Pierre Beltoise at the 1974 South African Grand Prix.

Bob Evans (born 11 June 1947) is a British former racing driver from England. A good F5000 racer with 5 victories (picture-below), he participated in 12 F1 Grand Prix for the BRM, Lotus and RAM teams, but scored no championship points. He also competed in numerous non-Championship Formula One races.
