A Lada for Senna!

Unusual, to say the least. Have a good look at the picture above: Yes, it is indeed the great Ayrton Senna, recognising the Hungaroring in a modest Lada, ahead of the 1986 Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
It was the first-ever Formula One race to be held behind the Iron Curtain. The race was notable for the fantastic battle between fierce Brazilian rivals Nelson Piquet in his Williams-Honda and Ayrton Senna (who had started from pole position) in his Lotus-Renault.
Piquet, after an unsuccessful attempt on the previous lap, succeeded to pass the Lotus driver around the outside and in opposite lock, in a very audacious and risky move (picture below), to win the race.
