The Ferrari 333 SP is a sports prototype race car that was built by Italian race car manufacturer Dallara and later Michelotto to compete in the World Sports Car Championship for Ferrari.

Horag-Lista driver and Daytona 24 Hours winner Didier Theys remembers: “This picture was taken at Mosport in 1995. There were three Ferrari 333SP’s entered and I was sharing mine with team owner Fredy Lienhard. I loved this car, because it was fast and reliable, and it’s naturally aspired Ferrari 4.0L V12 engine developed 650bhp and a lot of torque (400lb at 9500 rpm). A pleasure to drive… very fast!”

Didier Theys continues: “Mosport is a super track, old school, as unfortunately they do not build anymore nowadays, a bit like Watkins Glen. I always performed well on these challenging circuits for the simple reason that you always drive well when you enjoy. I remember we briefly led the race and finished fifth overall that year.”
