Patrick Depailler, finally

Patrick Depailler (picture above), a heavy smoker, surely enjoys the taste of his cigarette, minutes after victoriously crossing the line of the 1978 Monaco Grand Prix.

After a long wait (since his F1 debut in 1974), a string of second places, near misses and a beautiful race in the streets of Monaco, the French driver aboard his Tyrrell 008, finally scores his first Formula One Grand Prix victory.
