Jules Bianchi

2014 Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. Since 2012, I was a partner in F1i.com, the leading French speaking website that I had created with my partner Pierre Van Vliet and Bernard de Wasseige. I got to know Jules Bianchi.

After every test session, I was looking for him in the F1 paddock to get his first impressions. Minutes later these were published online on our fast growing website. He was always nice and helpful.

Just before the start of the race, I caught up with him, he was relaxed and determined (picture above). We got along well. Later, we spent time together at the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix. I was lucky to get to know him, a nice and gentle person and a very fast race car driver…
