Race cars in the streets of Brussels!

It was Serge Stevens’ initiative to try and convince the authorities to revive the ‘Brussels Grand Prix’ under the famous monument, the Atomium.

And sure, he did convince them. The ‘Brussels Grand Prix Revival 1961-2011’ was reborn, 50 years exactly after the one that took place in the streets of Brussels with great champions like Moss and Mairesse.

Wonderful view and sound of these Formula 1 cars, Sports Prototypes and these old timers racing between straw balls and the crowd, for what we knew would be a ‘one off’.

Benoit and myself, of course, gladly accepted the invitation, and drove our Radical up and down the hill with great enthousiasme (picture above).
