In 2016, Bernie Ecclestone and Christian Horner were often seen dining together, walking together, have long conversations,and some commentators saw this as a sign Horner had been chosen to replace Ecclestone one day at the top of the FOM.
Bernie then sold the FOM to Liberty Media, and Horner stayed at Red Bull Racing. Nobody can be sure, there is any truth to these rumors.
