Jean Xhenceval, born 6 February 1945, is a former excellent Belgian racing driver. His career spanned from 1970 to 1983, and almost exclusively on BMWs prepared by the tuner Luigi, whose son-in-law he is.

As discreet as he was fast and reliable, he built up a fine record with prestigious victories: the 24 Hours of Spa in 1974 and 1975, the RAC TT in 1976, the Brno Grand Prix in 1976 and 1977, the 4 Hours of Jarama in 1976, the ETCC of Monza and Mugello in 1976 and 1977, the 500 km of Brands Hatch and Pergusa in 1979, the 4 Hours of Monza in 1979…

Jean Xhenceval also finished 8th, 9th and 10th at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, respectively in 1977, 1981 and 1980, in only three participations, won the European Touring Car Championship in 1976, and always with his partner and friend Pierre Dieudonné (photo below).
