1976 Spa 24 Hours: After the retirement of the three BMW 3.0CSL Luigi, the overwhelming favorites, it was the BMW No. 5 of “Chavan” – Jean-Marie Detrin and Nico Demuth, which won.
“Chavan”-Jean-Marie Détrin-Nico Demuth in their private Association Interim BMW 3.0 CSL took a surprise but deserved victory when all the works cars were delayed, at the 1976 Spa 24 Hours. Second was the works Alfa Romeo GTV of Jean-Claude Andruet and Spartaco Dini in front of two other GTV’s.
