Keke Rosberg

For 1986, Keke Rosberg moved to McLaren to partner the freshly crowned Alain Prost.

The McLaren-TAG was now slightly underpowered compared to the Williams-Honda, and Rosberg was soundly beaten by his team-mate.

The MP4/2c was designed to suit the smoother racing style of Prost and Lauda, while Rosberg was late braking and throwing the car into the corners.

Rosberg did not win a race while Prost being crowned again. The Finn decided to retire of Formula 1 at the end of the year.
