Should I stay or should I go?

More than a month after the loss of the world title in such a  controversial manner in Abu Dhabi, Lewis Hamilton is still draped in a long mediatic silence.

Like in the famous song of English rock band ‘The Clash’, which tune is so well known, the seven-time World Champion is asking himself if ‘he should stay or if he should go’ away from the recent unfair and so cruel (this is his sentiment) treatment of the Formula 1.

Toto Wolff claims that he is not certain at all that his driver will be on the grid in Bahrein next March, and remembers the sudden retirement of his driver Nico Rosberg, a day after his coronation in Abu Dhabi in 2016. He’s now thinking of a plan B, just in case.

Although the names of Gasly, Bottas and Vettel have emerged recently as eventual replacements for Lewis (despite the fact that all of them have contracts signed with other teams), we cannot imagine Hamilton leaving such a competitive drive, certainly not after a defeat. He must be thirsty for revenge.

What will Lewis do? Is he capable of digesting this enormous disappointment and find the motivation to fight for an eighth crown, that will put him at the ultimate top in the history of our sport? Well, it is probable that this suspense will last a few more weeks.
