In June 2011, I had the chance to drive Thierry Boutsen and Alessandro Nannini’s 1988 Benetton B188 for an hour, on the magnificent track of Spa-Francorchamps.
Fantastic experience, the car designed by South-African Rory Byrne, being so efficient and much too fast for my level of experience. Luckily, I had driven many laps at Francorchamps aboard my Radical these last years. It was a dream come true.
After ten unforgettable laps, and a spin (!) aboard this mighty machine, here am I, entering the pitlane (picture above).
Will always be thankful to the actual car owner, my friend and team mate, Benoit Claeys for the opportunity.
