Mauricio Gugelmin

Mauricio Gugelmin, born 20 April 1963, is a Brazilian racing driver. He participated in 80 Formula One Grand Prix for the March, Leyton House and Jordan teams. Gugelmin achieved one podium and scored a total of ten championship points in F1.

He then competed in the CART series in North-America between 1993 and 2001, winning one race in Vancouver in 1997, finishing fourth in the championship that year. His best result in the Indianapolis 500 was in 1995 (picture below), where he finished in sixth, after leading 59 laps.
