The 1976 Monaco Grand Prix was the sixth round of the 1976 Formula One season and the mood was good in the paddock.

Jody Scheckter, James Hunt and Roger Penske seem to share a joke (wish I knew what they were talking about) ahead of the race.

These were the times where drivers and team managers from different teams did not hesitate to spend time together, enjoy life, have fun together and then return to their respective teams, and then race hard.

The South African was driving the six-wheeler Tyrrell P34 and finished an excellent second behind the Ferrari of Niki Lauda, while Hunt was a title contender in his McLaren M23 but had to retire with a broken engine, and Roger Penske was guiding the efforts of his driver John Watson (Penske PC3), who finished tenth.
