James Hunt (1947-1993) was a British racing driver who won the 1976 Formula One World Championship. A fantastic personality, a big heart and a heavy right foot, and a legendary final at Mount Fuji in 1976 in the pouring rain. After retiring from racing in 1979, Hunt became a Grand Prix commentator for the BBC.
He entered 93 F1 Grand Prix (92 starts), scored 10 wins, 23 podiums, 14 pole positions and 179 career points.
