David Kennedy from Ireland entered 7 Grand Prix in 1980, with the underfunded Shadow team and was unable to qualify its uncompetitive DN11. But he was successful in an ex-Jody Scheckter Wolf WR3 in the Aurora AFX British F1 series and won his class at Le Mans 3 times for Mazda.
