Derek Warwick and Brian Henton, the 1981 Toleman Formula One drivers, were probably discussing their engines poor reliability with Brian Hart, who engineered the Hart 1.5 litre turbo engine that powered their Toleman TG181.
It was a disastrous first Formula One season for the new to F1 Toleman team that participated in 12 of the 16 Grand Prix of the 1981 season with two promising drivers, Warwick and Henton, who had shown in Formula 2 that they were capable of winning races, but did not succeed to qualify or pre-qualify most of the time, because of poor reliability.
Brian Henton (picture-below) finished in tenth at the 1981 Italian Grand Prix at Monza: the only time of the season a Toleman TG181-Hart saw the finishing line that season.
