The flight of the eagle

It’s in the summer of 1966 that one of the prettiest F1 cars in history appeared: the Eagle T1G. At first, it was powered by the Climax 4 cylindres, and made its race debut in the hands of driver-constructor Dan Gurney the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, where one year later, it would triumph, but this time, powered by the Weslake V12 engine (picture below).
The Eagle scored its first points at the French Grand Prix at Reims, for its second race appearance (picture above), thanks to a fine fifth place conquered by the great Dan.
