The 1951 Ulster Trophy was a non-championship Formula One race held on 2 June 1951 at Dundrod Circuit, in North Ireland. The race was won by Alfa Romeo driver and 1950 World Champion Giuseppe Farina (picture-below), who also set pole position and fastest lap. Hamilton and his Talbot Lago were forced to retire after 3 laps only with a broken camshaft.
