So proud to have Didier on board at the Human Side of Racing.
Not only is he a great driver (from Nivelles, Belgium), he is a super guy and great friend.

Didier is best known for his successes (twice) at the Daytona 24 Hours (1998 and 2002), and the 1998 Sebring 12 Hours.
He is a Grand-American Road racing Association champion (2002) and the overall winner of the 24 Hours of Spa (1987 in a factory BMW).

He was the polesitter (1996) and a podium finisher at the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times (1997, 1998 and 1999).

In single seaters Theys won the US Super Vee championship in 1986, and then the ARS (now Indy Lights) championship in 1987.

The Belgian then moved to the CART Indy Car Series from 1987 to 1993, including the Indianapolis 500 three times (1989, 1990, 1993).
He finished in the top 10 ten times in CART events, and his best career finish in that series was a podium (3rd) in Miami in 1988.
