Bruno Senna in black and gold

Bruno Senna, born 15 October 1983, is a Brazilian racing driver, and nephew of the great late Ayrton Senna. He was a Formula 1 driver from 2010 to 2012, when he drove for the HRT, Renault and Williams teams. He is also the first man to win a race in every WEC class, and is the 2017 WEC World Champion in the LMP2 class.

In 46 Grand Prix starts, he scored 33 points and one fastest lap. At the 2011 Italian Grand Prix at Monza (picture above), Bruno Senna earned the first points in his F1 career with a ninth place finish, aboard this Renault R31, in black and gold livery, reminding us the 1985 and 1986 Lotus’, Ayrton Senna drove to many victories.

Note, the colour scheme of Bruno’s helmet (picture below) is a slightly modified version of that used by his uncle Ayrton.
