Sarah Bovy and the Iron Dames

After a few seasons in the shadows, Belgian Sarah Bovy (33) took, at the wheel of the Ferrari entered in GT3 by the Iron Dames team, a new dimension in 2022, proving she’s one of the fastest Bronze drivers in the WEC, as well as in the ELMS.

At Monza in Italy, she became the first ever pole-woman in the history of the WEC (in her category), then the first in the history of the ELMS at Portimão in Portugal, a race she won with Michelle Gatting and Doriane Pin. 

But for Sarah and her teammates in the Iron Dames team, the success in the Gold category, 18th overall, at the 24 Hours of Spa, was the highlight of her season and an emotional moment. No doubt, more is yet to come, for Sarah Bovy and the Iron Dames in 2023 and beyond.
