Naomi Schiff recalls her first W-Series race at Hockenheim: “It all started very positively in FP1, I was 4th fastest overall in the dry. It was super, the car felt great I was really close to the frontrunners”.

“Then it started to rain, and I clearly don’t have enough experience in single-seaters in these conditions. I struggled to put temperature in the tyres, and this was the story of my week-end”.

“I could have qualified a couple of places higher, but a red flag held me in my best lap, so this was unfortunate, as starting higher on the grid is very important. In the race, it was the same story, the track was very wet, I did not have much feeling in the tyres, I fought hard and had some lock-ups, so the result is not satisfying for me.”

“Nevertheless, I see lot’s of positives, I was very fast in the dry, so I know the pace is there. Now up to me to understand the car in wet conditions. I learned a lot, and feel motivated for the next race. Bring on Zolder !”
