Allan McNish (born 29 December 1969) is former racing driver and race commentator from Dumfries in Scotland. He started 16 Formula One Grand Prix for Toyota in 2002, with a best result of 7th, but is one of the greatest ever sports car racers, having won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times (1998, 2008, 2013) and the Sebring 12 Hours four times (2004, 2006, 2009, 2012).

Allan McNish: “The most dangerous part of the race is early evening and especially early morning. It’s the twilight zone. Either you’re going into darkness and the sun is dropping down, or you’re coming out of the darkness and the sun is coming up. At the same time, you’ve got new drivers coming in and feeling their way around the circuit.”
