Simon Pagenaud, IndyCar driver for Team Penske recalls the 2019 Long Beach race: “I went a tad conservative in race set-up, after a good feeling in qualifying where I was 5th, and it cost us in overall pace. The chassis of the DXCTechnology car 22, is now very good on street circuits, we learned a lot during this week-end, and this will help us for the rest of the season.”

“My team-mate Jo Newgarden did a very good job, up to us to even do better. Am satisfied with 6th today, it was the maximum we could achieve. We scored good points and… Bring on the very exciting month of May !”
