Michael Schumacher made a huge impression, when on his debut in F1 (1991) he qualified the Jordan he had inherited from the ‘absent’ Gachot in 7th position, while discovering the mighty circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.

He was soon snapped by Flavio Briatore and joined the Benetton team for the next GP in Monza.
Two world titles followed in 1994 and 1995.

The German was then lured by Ferrari who did not win a driver’s title since … Jody Scheckter’s title back in 1979.
The Scuderia, managed by the efficient Jean Todt hired Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne to soon form a nearly unbeatable team.

His relentless work and dedication, his speed and work ethics, helped by a privileged relationship with tyre supplier Bridgestone, brought him enormous success and 5 more world titles between 2000 and 2004.

Our thought to the Red Baron of Formula 1, Michael Schumacher.
