Denny Hulme, the soon-to-be 1967 Formula 1 Drivers’ World Champion, picture here-above, hard at work and on his way to victory, in his Brabham BT20-Repco at the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix.

The New-Zealander is very consistant at the front during this 1967 F1 season. He scores two important victories at Monaco and at the Nürburgring, and finishes six times on the podium, which enables him to narrowly beat his team-mate and boss Jack Brabham in the final standings.

The 100-lap race was thus won by Kiwi Denny Hulme driving a Brabham BT20 (picture below) after starting in fourth position. Graham Hill, the Monaco specialist, finished second for Team Lotus and Ferrari driver Chris Amon followed in third. Sadly, the race was overshadowed by the fatal accident suffered by Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini in the late stages of the race.
